ADOPTION PROCESS
COVERAGE AREA
We are located in Eastern PA, between Allentown and Pottsville. We do adopt to families outside of PA in surrounding states such as NJ, upstate NY, OH, DE, MD, VA, VT, NH and other New England states. However, interested adopters must make an appointment & travel to our location with their entire family (human & canine) to meet prospective dogs. We do not transport our dogs to adopting families.

SUBMIT ADOPTION APPLICATION

PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ADOPTERS
If you are interested in adopting another German Shepherd you DO NOT have to fill out another application if you have already been approved in the past 12 months, or were previously approved and have not adopted a dog yet. All you have to do is e-mail us with your first and last name and wait to hear back from us. Please click here to email us.

APPROVAL PROCESS
Please allow us up to two weeks to review your application & contact your references. We will advise you when your application has been approved.
BEGIN MEETING DOGS!
After your application has been approved, we can schedule your family for a Meet & Greet with available dogs. Arrangements will be made for you, all of your resident family members, and any of your existing dogs to meet the prospective Shepherd(s) at our location. Our decades of experience with German Shepherds allows us to match you with a dog appropriate for your lifestyle.
ADOPTION FEES
All of our GSD's will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and tested for Heartworm prior to adoption.
Dogs 7 months and older: $300
Puppies less than 6 months old: $500
Senior dogs (8+) for Seniors (Persons 65 years and older): $150
We also offer a $50 discount for Military Veterans!
Please understand that the dog you are interested in today may already have applications pending. We
process applications promptly, but do not adopt on a "First Come, First Served" basis. Rather, our goal is
to match each individual dog with the best possible home. If you have submitted an application, and the
dog you were interested in is adopted in the meantime, don't be discouraged. We take in new rescue dogs
frequently. With your approved application already on file, you will be able to schedule a Meet & Greet right away with any new dogs that fits your preferences.
